It's been a while
AND I AM IN!
Wow. Blogger has changed a lot. I've changed a lot. We've all changed a lot.
I don't even use blogger anymore - I don't think anyone does!? It's all wordpress as far as I'm concerned.
But anyway Debbie posted on the facebook group and everyone's commenting with nostalgic stories and things, and I'm just thinking of how much has changed. For starters, I refuse to read my posts from p6 or earlier because it was probably just plain embarrassing.
But what I'm really thinking about now is how much we've all changed so much. It's kinda scary to see you guys (not that you'll read this) all growing up and becoming teenagers. Grown up leh. And we're going to continue growing up to become adults. The first thing that hits me is definitely the physical changes because well, because puberty. And people look better and taller and more mature. Then there's the non-physical stuff which of course I won't see for all because I don't really know everyone now. But uh hmm like Shiv not hating me anymore, Chan being into kpop!? Realizing that Sufi finally grew taller, and also seeing him around at debate stuff (a bit weird haha). Oh and Nat becoming some ladies man or something (irdk) and definitely, definitely everyone suddenly knowing other people I met in secondary school, and just this whole big mess of mutual friends and overlapping social circles and small worlds.
Oh and who would've thought back then that Cayson would've run for head prefect in RI? And that Huiru and Yun Jie would actually like, be okay with each other? Huiru and I went to watch the HCIMB concert together last year for goodness' sake. Also they're both their bands' respective Number Ones (with Jenny number 2 in RGSSB). It's just scary how far we've come.
Also, I remember at the end of primary school saying things like "See you in JC!" to Chan and Shiv, and now suddenly JC is in less than a year.......
That's all, I guess. Somehow I thought this would be longer but everything is mostly being said and laughed at on the fb group. I'm trying to look at that unglam photo of Talent Fiesta with the eyes of a 16-year-old looking at a bunch of p6 kids and I just... I can't leh. I only see peers ><
